Title: Bike Alarm Systems
Post by: BikerGoddess on April 20, 2009, 09:14:10 PM
Does anyone have an alarm installed on their bike? Can anyone recommend a brand? I just got a new Aprilia Scarabeo 200 and am forced to park it (covered) on the street in the Mission District of San Francisco. I'm looking at alarms only. Lojack is ridiculously expensive, and most of the GPS-based tracker system charge a monthly extortion, er, subscription fee. I'm just looking for a traditional alarm, without remote start, that makes noise and can page me if the alarm goes off.

Thanks!

It has been discussed here at the DMF - you might include DMF in your research?

YouTube also has some videos [thumbsup]

You might want to move this thread to the Accessories Forum.

Oh, and +1 to a search.  :)
