Title: LP motorcycle stand- rear Post by: yellowjacket on April 20, 2009, 11:03:47 PM I have a 03 Monster 800 and Im looking to buy a read stand to do basic maintenance. Would a LP racing motorcycle stand work:

My pipes are factory standard and located right by the swingarm... I've got a CycleCat and its phenomenal. Too bad you can't get them anymore. When you are looking for stands, see if they are for spools or not - spools are more stable IF your bike is equipped with spools. If it is not, then you can't use a stand for one until you put spools on. This may require drilling and tapping. While that's do-able, there's really no reason to go to that much trouble. I`ve sat on the bike on this with a full tank of gass and it still felt very secure. I`ve wheeled it out of the garage into the driveway with it. It works great and is plenty strong.
