I hate the media
inflamatory misleading make the beast with two backss
that is all
have a nice day
not again.
shit.
What have they said now?
I cannot count a single time where the media has reported a situation correctly that I have any knowledge of
not once
they take facts and skew them to lead the reader/viewer into a much more severe conclusion
and
I am just irritated by it today
Amen
I cant even watch the news anymore. I dont think they really care about anything anyways other than ratings.
Of course, the news outlets that were most accurate were also the least watched or subscribed to, so is the problem the media, or the sensation loving, attention deficit, immediate gratification public that the media caters to? I think it's a societal thing, a sort of mob mentality. The larger the group addressed, the more likely irrational, sensational or inaccurate reporting will be the preferred by the listeners.

I AGREE 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, not many reputable sources left.... certainly nothing reporting fair unbias information. I guess the best way of getting it is to gather from several of the best sources available to you, identify and understand the reporters bias/slant/agenda, and use that accordingly to filter the news from the chaff.
I used to have occasion to talk to the media more frequently than I liked and frequently, I couldn't recognized my own words when put into print.
I just don't talk the the media anymore.
Just, no comment.[coffee]
LA
So? Is someone forcing you at gunpoint to watch / read / listen to the media you're complaining about?
I ignore it along with the rest of the crap I don't like out there.
And I get my news from sources I trust. Almost none of them are domestic.
I think you're giving vultures a bad name. :-*

[laugh] [thumbsup]
gunpoint?
I generally do not complain when at gunpoint :-)
My complaint mimicks LA's
at times I must talk to the media
when I am forced to by my employers
when I watch/ read it later
I do not reckognize me
it is frustrating

Does it make you beside yourself?
That might explain it.
