Title: Unused space/cover under the kill switch. What is it good for? Post by: stopintime on April 24, 2009, 03:06:29 PM I've seen this on many Ducatis, but never seen it being put to use.
What's under there? Is it of any use on other models with the same controls? Can you think of anything to put there? That is where is goes on the late model Ducati. I installed a euro switch on my S4R and there is a switch there that turns of the headlight and the tail light. Doesn't come with a switch though, you gotta be crafty and make it yourself.

The switch does not have it's own part number. You have to buy the whole assembly. I don't have the part number but your local dealer can order it. Mine uses the older left-side switch setup. I just ordered that part from Commoto. Helps significantly on bikes that didn't have the headlight-interrupt circuit (older bikes).
