Title: Chill - 1 Thunderstorm - 0 Post by: Pedro-bot on April 24, 2009, 05:39:13 PM HA! Rode 12 miles home from work in some heavy rainfall. Made it home safe but got a question. My leather jacket got soaked! Anyone have any idea what to do to keep the leather from going bad? I dried it with a towel and have some leather conditioner. Should I lather the jacket in conditioner? Any idea how to dry it?

That's about all you can do. As you might expect, don't use a blow dryer or heater to expedite the process. I usually use a leather cleaner/conditioner like Lexol on it after letting it air out for a day or two. Maybe spray on some waterproofing stuff for future run-ins with crappy weather. So... didja get your dainty Dainese jacket a wee bit wet and now you've got yer panties in a wad? :P ;D Title: Re: Chill - 1 Thunderstorm - 0 Post by: txduc on April 25, 2009, 03:20:59 AM Shamwow!! JK. I have not tried it myself but have been told that the newspaper thing works.

Keep telling yourself your MotoBoss gear is just as good as the Dainese gear, and you'll find yourself in your "happy place" again. Speaking of underwear. How's that rash working out for ya, you able to go back to wearing your MotoBoss thongs?
