Title: Idles too fast when hot
Post by: Gearhead211 on April 25, 2009, 05:11:29 PM
???Have an 02 620ie, engine wants to idle at 1800-2000 rpm when temp exceeds 200 deg F. Idles normally 1000-1200 rpm at lower temps. Thinking that throttle bodies may need syncing. Any ideas ?

Have you owned this bike from the start or did you buy it used?

Do you know if the throttle stop has been messed w/ in the past??

A TB Sync wouldnt hurt and its fairly simple to do.

He bought it used last year. Is there a thread on the throttle body sync procedure?
