hello folks,
i was wondering if most people like to give names to their motorcycles and/or cars?
personally, i'm not in the habit of naming my vehicles. i've had a bunch of cars and bikes over the years and there has been a "bertha" that was the old beast of a car but i've never really been inspired to come up with names.
but is it weird to keep them nameless but refer to them as "she" ;)
four pages of bike names here: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=19369.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=19369.0)
The only inanimate objects I name are boats.
i'm with you Statler...but i've never owned a boat...maybe one day :)
When my vehicles are acting up I give them lots of names ;D
my old car was nicknamed The Black Widow, I gave it the name cause it was all black and had really really dark tinted windows.
Current car is named "Rocket": I gave it that name the night I bought it, because I was standing next to it with the engine running and the entire dash and console were lit up with so many buttons, it looked like space shuttle control panel.
Monster is named Rosa: the night I bought it, the g/f and I went to see Miracle at St. Anna, Rosa is the HOT italian chick in there............my g/f HATES the name and is currently working on a new one.
My mountain bike is nicknamed "the slutty mistress" or Princess Desalvo

There are 2 happiest days in a man's life - the day he buys a boat and the day he sells that boat.
