depends on how u ride really. i got ~9500 before it started groaning and another 200 before i couldnt go past 50ish.

ive heard of 30k+ too but all depends on how/where u ride.

I am near 30k on mine and still going strong.

On a side note I clutchless shift most of the time. Does that have any negative or positive effects on the clutch?

25k ish miles. pretty hard miles. its slipping some. making a whole lot of racket. the basket and plates are really banged up. i just dont want to get stranded, you know.

25k aint hard enough. gotta beat my 9.5k  [evil]

if its groaning when you let the clutch out, then id replace it. if not, id have a pack ready. you can always oepn the clutch up and take a look at the paltes to see how much friction material is left

I like to think I bang my clutch around pretty hard on my ST2. Heck, my last few sets of tires have barely hit 2000 miles before bald or to the cords, and I even wore a front down to the wear bars in 1400 miles. I use the clutch ALL the time and don't do wheelies, and my clutch has gone 43k miles, so far. Most people would have changed it out over 20k miles ago just because of the wear on the tabs of the plates and on the basket, but I figure as long as it isn't slipping, I don't care. My bike has lived in the twisties about 95% of its lifetime, so it's gone through a LOT of gear changes.....My 748 has 18k on its clutch, and it's still going strong.....

I beat the heck out of my clutch enough that, at 32k miles the hub nut came loose on my ST2, and I'm still running that same clutch assembly. I bought a replacement back then, and it's just been sitting on the floor gathering dust...
