Title: Checked out the 696 at Speed's... Post by: Lance Goodthrust on May 16, 2008, 08:37:54 PM and I liked the pictures better. It's not all bad, but I think my favorite part was the new front fender. The rear swingarm makes the entire rear look heavy (if that makes sense). The finish on some of the pieces looks like plastic and it gives the whole package a bit of a cheap look. Now I'm ver confused - I thought it was pretty cool looking when it came out, now I just don't know. Speed's had it done up with some Termis, tank bag, and pillion bag. Looks like the aftermarket is already geared up and ready to help with the mod bug. Anyone else have a chance to take a look at it in person?

I can appreciate the redesign although I had no idea the rear tire was a 160. I wonder when they'll start having demo rides ;)

I didn't like the pictures much at all but I would ride one after seeing it in person. Of course, I won't ride one because I want a dry clutch and I want a bigger engine.
