Title: About time I gave the 695 some love. Post by: El Matador on May 04, 2009, 11:34:03 AM So in case anyone thought I had forgotten about my 695, here are some pics of a little work I did to it this weekend.
I never liked the stock taillight, and I've always wanted one more cafe-style to go with the rest of my bike, so I found this one lying around and fabbed a quick bracket to see how it looked. It came out pretty well, but I'm not sure about it yet, I want a more "bullet" style taillight. I also added pods, it is amazing how much they clean the bike up. A little bit of wire relocation and the bike is looking damn good. I made some custom velocity stacks out of glass fibre, but I think I'm gonna go ahead and make them out of Carbon. [evil] They are much larger than the stock ones that come in the airbox, and some quick numbers tell me that they should add a couple of HP, just like the TPO Beast kit. Austin. i have the full termi kit with the chip...itd be nice to get rid of my exhaust and put a baffled tip on there but....idk. what do the pipes look like? batteries plus has that battery for $60. I used to have that same setup. But I sold the pipes and kept the chip. the pipes are gonna look like this, but made out of carbon.
