I'm a little bugged that they cut Terrence Howard, in the role of Col. Rhodes. I like Don Cheadle, but he just doesn't strike me as having a military bearing. Also, is Gwyneth back as Pepper Potts? That pregnant dog annoys me, but I actually liked her in this role.
I'll still go see the movie with great anticipation.
I am still pissed about Howard not being Rhodie, I really liked him in that role and agree that Cheadle, while a great actor, is not right for it. Paltrow did a great job as Pepper. Me and the wife don't care for her normally either.

I'm sure she'll be back, Stark needs his sidekick to keep him "sensitive".
On another note, his garage/workshop has been upgraded to museum status:

My question is how he got the parts back from the suit that he built and left in the desert from the first movie. Weren't the parts cannibalized by the locals??
definitely on the list...

They picked it all up, but Jeff Bridges snagged it back as a model for his own suit, didn't he?
As for Howard, I think he's a great actor, but he really didn't bring much to the role. Maybe he was limited by the script or Favreau? I agree Cheadle doesn't seem like a good replacement.

Who cares? IM2 should still rock!
But to answer your question, black helicopters flew in and collected the debris.
;D
I didn't think the original guy had a very good military feel to him but I don't think Cheadle does either. Not that either is a bad actor, they just don't feel military.
Anybody notice that on IMDB they already have Ironman3 on Robert Downey Jr's list of films. [roll]

Mostly because imdb is using it as a catch to pay for pro. I also think it's silly to credit someone for something that isn't even started yet.
it's in "pre-production"

Doesn't mean he's done anything related to it.

you obviously don't understand the concept of imdb...
this isn't about giving somebody credit for something they haven't done, it's just detailing a project that's in the works.
how about these entries for matt damon:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000354/ (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000354/)
1. Ness (details only on IMDbPro)
2. Untitled Liberace Project (details only on IMDbPro)
3. Untitled Ben Affleck/Matt Damon Project (details only on IMDbPro)
4. Untitled Jason Bourne Project (2011) (announced) .... Jason Bourne
5. The Adjustment Bureau (2010) (pre-production)
how dare they "give him credit" for these movies that don't even have names....
so... "whatev" [roll]

If it's anything like the comics, I'm not surprised at all. And I'd probably see this movie for that reason alone [thumbsup]

Did Derby actually... Derby?
I think that's the 7th sign of the end times.

I don't think that's the actual costume from the movie...

Okay, I'm not big on her, period. I liked her better as a blonde, but something about her just doesn't do it for me. Hearing her blather on, unintelligently, during the election run-up didn't help her standing.

I know, I don't make sense. Look, she looks better as a blonde than a brunette; that said, she doesn't turn my crank like a Megan Fox or Jessica Biel. Besides, Pam and Marilyn are the blonde gold standards.
