Title: Broken Rear Turn Indicator Post by: Napalm on May 07, 2009, 07:46:30 PM Just bought myself a used 696, and today I managed to break the left rear turn indicator today. Ahh Crap [bang]
Does anyone have a part number and price for this little plastic piece? Title: Re: Broken Rear Turn Indicator Post by: He Man on May 07, 2009, 09:18:10 PM generally speaking, most people go aftermarket when they break those. no point in buying stock again.
Title: Re: Broken Rear Turn Indicator Post by: z0mb1e_DUC on May 08, 2009, 02:38:14 AM Broke mine. 696 turn signals are prone to breakage in the back. It's the plastic they use around the bolt, it's chincy. It'll be cheaper to go aftermarket. I did. Got Rizoma Zero-11's for $30 each. They tuck in just far enough to avoid catching them while getting on/off the bike. That's how I broke mine
& I know at least one other who did it the same way. Title: Re: Broken Rear Turn Indicator Post by: weemonster on May 08, 2009, 04:05:18 AM This is a sign from a higher power.
It is your destiny. But be warned its a slippery slope. And things will be breaking or starting to looky tatty all the time ;D Title: Re: Broken Rear Turn Indicator Post by: duclvr on May 08, 2009, 05:03:26 AM Just bought myself a used 696, and today I managed to break the left rear turn indicator today.
