I write left handed and use my right had for everything else. I mostly wear my watch on the left wrist, but have started wearing it on the right. I like it!
I will need to add a link or two back to my main watch to fit on the right.
Where do you wear your watch? I know how some of you are, so yes, boobies is an option.
I play guitar and the watch on the right scratches the guitar. I wear it on the left.
I'm right handed and wear watches on the left side. I keep my right arm free of goods (work related issue).
I wear mine on my left wrist unless I'm driving in a country that drives on the left hand side of the road then I move it to my right.
Though I do have a kinetic watch so sometime I will switch it to my right if I'm feeling frisky just to give it a wind...
I don't have a watch, I can't tell time anyways.
I"m a lefty and wear one (when I remember) on my left wrist ~

Just curious, why does playing the violin make wearing your watch on the right wrist a good idea?

If I have it on the left the watch can bump and scrape on the neck of the violin. On the right hand (bow arm) it won't touch anything.
I don't wear a watch. I just look at my cell phone or another clock.
I am right handed, but use a pocket watch.
I don't wear a watch, my cell phone tells time. In fact I don't like anything on my wrists, not even long sleeves. I end up rolling them up anyway. I also don't like being locked in small spaces.
I don't want to talk about it.
lm's dad repairs watches, and everytime I go into his shop with my watch on....he gives me shit
I'm right handed and I wear my watch on my right wrist.
his law is..... left handed = right wrist
right handed= left wrist
I was always under the impression that men wear their watch on the left wrist and women wear theirs on the right. Same goes with men having the end of their belt pointed to the left and vice verse for the ladies. It can be reverse if you are left hand dominant

I've heard similar.
For a short time when I did wear a watch I liked it on my right hand (I'm right handed). My friends told me I was supposed to wear it on my left. But then the knobs and button on it would dig into my hand. Not comfortable.
I have a pocket watch.

No, a

I keep it in my watch pocket in my vest. It keeps it the fob from becoming entangled with my cane.

I started out wearing them on my right, as it just felt natural. After a while I got sick of people asking me why I wore it on my right wrist, so I switched to my left and that now feels normal. But...I don't wear one anymore.
dont wear one anymore, so.............. ( * )( * )
when i did, it was on the left.
I wear a watch on my left wrist but when i want to feel like I'm reading the time from a stranger I wear the watch on my right wrist.

Right handed, left wrist for the watch. BUT, I wear a bracelet on my right wrist. Plus a ring on each ring finger. Watch, bracelet, and rings: all Titanium!

Women's clothes also have buttons on the opposite side than mens.
In regards to which wrist..I'm right-handed so I wear my watch on the left while my wife wears hers on right (d*mn lefty!).
So, I understand that lefty's are azz backwards doing most things but unless they wear self-winding watches..I don't know why they don't wear them on the left wrist since most wind on the right side/?

I think it's so that it is both out of your way and easily viewed while you are writing.
