I have a piece of chocolate in my hand - can't decide if the computer screen or the chocolate goes in my mouth first.

BTW Why do you still have stock foot peg assemblies - don't you like the aftermarket stuff?

I like the aftermarket stuff a lot. But I'm thinking of making it myself. Till now I just changed the footrest. See pic.
I rerouted some wires etc. and cleaned up everything underneath the tank and the seat. Also added some small things like the oiltemp-thing (see pic), Rizoma steerweights and modified hidden frontfender. Lowered the new headlight and gauches a lot and added a carbonfiber rearlightcover to the bike.

I must say your bike is the one that brought me to this board when I first saw it and I haven't gotten tired of looking at it.

It would balance your color scheme.   :)  But either way, that is one spectacular bike.   [thumbsup]

What the thing to the sides of the oil cooler...

Love the bike [thumbsup] still having a hard time with the seat. :P  But overall.........one of my faves on the DMF.
Nice work with the photoshop effects as well [clap] some of the pics make it look like a scale model. The head light is awesome, very industrial.

Theres parts of that bike i like. I like the black coating and copper tips on the exhaust and theres lot of quality bolt ons.
 But as a whole  :(

Its very unbalanced. The chopped off rear  and lack of end cans make the wheel  look huge. and all the bolt  on stuff on the front makes it look front heavy and out of proportion.

I think its one surreal looking machine!  Its disproportion is what makes it so compelling.  I dig it!  I do like the old headlight better..... as if you were asking for my opinion. ;D

A red swingarm (to match the frame) would look sweet...

-Nakid, the things on the oilcoolersides are just there to concentrate more airflow (in combination with the hidden frontfender) and visually to fill up the space between the cooler and the front wheel.
-My goal was to let the rear wheel look huge and the total front long, low and heavy.
-The exhaust is a modified Quat-d Exbox with copper elements and removed db-killer.

Thanks!!! The mirrors are bar ends from CRG (Lane Splitters) , indeed (Thanks Yotogi). I think they are great all the way. They look good, don't give a blur vision and give a really great view of what moves behind you. My left mirror is low to see what is behind me perfectly, the right mirror is high so I can, besides see what's behind me, see my rearwheel rotate. I love that. I try not to look too often at that, because it can be dangerous ofcourse.

Celli, what is that on the drive side of your bike, next to the belly pan?  It is to the right of the forward exhaust header in the first picture.  Is it just part of the pan itself?

Overall I think it's a great bike, there are parts I like, parts I love and parts I don't like, but that's the joys of modding  [thumbsup]
May I suggest (like others have suggested) Paint your Swingarm, I just did it to my S2R 800 and it visually made a huge difference to the bike. it's a lot of work to get it on and off, but I'm very happy with the final result  ;D

IMO your swingarm color looks very nice as it is, your bike has got a very heavy and nasty look - which is unique.
I said in another thread that your creation is not a bike, it's what we have instead of porn [thumbsup]
On the other hand, the three Monsters I've seen with a red swingarm are also very unique.
If you go in that direction, maybe a partially red swingarm? Only lower thick part red? Some kind of red pattern/stripes?

Concerning the swingarm, I don't know yet. I'm thinking about it. I'll keep you informed!  ;D

I agree, that swing arm is bad ass as is.  I have always drifted towards a color matching swingarm drawing attention away from the focal point of the bike.  Kind of like a picture that has a close-up running that goes out of the frame.  Maybe not the case with Cairns bike because of the red fairing, fender, and seat cowl, but your bike has the red, for the most part centered with tank / frame.  I wonder if a red swingarm  wouldn't draw too much attention away from the heart of the bike.  With that being said, take a look at my fugly Duc-ling and ignore any style advice I would give.

These pics seem to have a different headlight.  The home page states that it
it a Lamborghini headlight?  (Gallardo, Murcielago?)  How does one get their
hands on a Lambo headlight?  And how costly is it?  (if you dont mind me asking)

Mine was similar but had a Lamborghini logo on it. I don't think it was used for Gallardo's or Murcielago's. Maybe they just fabricated/distibuted it or so. Like my new headlight. It isn't used for any Ducatimodel, but was made by Ducati indeed.

I've always loved your bike since the first time I saw it on the DML.  It just keeps getting better all the time.  Stopintime is right, it's like porn for some of us.

Man that's a radical, bad-ass looking bike with character! I mean it's true art: everybody makes a view of their own when watching it, and it inspires people. Of course everybody does not like it, but that's the controversity of the art once again. Truly a masterpiece. You even made the ugly looking underside exhaust look good as hell. Unbelievable. anyway i wouldn't touch your swingarm. it looks hella rad as is! i think painting it red would honestly look like crap.
