there was a row of cars parked on the right, and i had to split between the parked cars and traffic. I guess i was too close to the parked cars as i rode past fairly slow -and i set off their alarm. After the initial scare of the sudden noise, it made me feel good that my bike could do that.
Go into a full, all concrete parking structure and goose the throttle... you'll get a couple there too. It's fun little game.
Anybody catch the movie "noise" Hope you don't run into that guy ;)
My first bike was an old Suzuki GS750 with a megaphone. I loved concrete parking garages! [evil]

yeah, I always crack a lil grin whenever I do that
there's a section of residential road near me that's narrow, with cars parked on both sides. it's about 2 blocks long at the bottom of a hill with a stop sign at the end. if I roar down the hill, then engine brake to the stop sign, i can set off dozens of alarms......
Wow that's really great.
I do like riding through tunnels though.
I speed up just before entering a tunnel. Then I close the throttle once completely inside the tunnel. One of these day's you'll read about a guy on a yellow Monster being rescued from a collapsed tunnel.

i always get a kick out of setting off alarms - don't know why, it's really just an annoyance for everyone else
but i let out a good chortle everytime
The best feeding ground for car alarms is our local high school parking lot. All the kids that just got some fancy alarm system installed and have it the sensitivity cranked way up to showcase it. I ride through to pick up a bus and I always get a few ~

When I hear an alarm go off in a residential area, I often go back and stop next to the offending car and rev my engine a few times to see how many times it will go off. If anybody looks out from the house, especially if they complain, they get a rude gesture as I wheelie out of there. [evil]

I chuckle to myself every time it happens. [laugh] [laugh]
I currently have some rather loud Ferracci pipes on my 888. They're too loud and I'm going to take them off and go back to stock for a while. But I'm thinking that maybe I should ride around and set off a few car alarms with them before I actually make the switch. I'm wondering if the parking lot of the local Mall might be the best place to do that. [evil] [evil]

Anywhere that you find large quantities of teenagers with cars that think their alarm system is just the most awesome you'll get plenty to set off ~
