So I'm having Termis installed today, and my dealer was nice enough to give me a loaner to ride. This is a huge plus since the dealer is an hour away and bumming a ride off of someone to get home from the dealer is a lot to ask.
In any event, while I'm waiting for my 1100, here is what I'm riding:

It's a V-Star 650 (I think).
It's nice, but slow, heavy, and not very interesting compared with my 1100. Hey, maybe the Harley riders will wave now.
It's nice of them to offer......
but wasn't there a bus you could've caught? ;)
LOL [laugh] [clap]
I figured it was just a trick to get me to appreciate my Monster even more. Here, ride this slow p.o.s. and you'll be grateful for what you already have.
Damn, that thing is a moose. You are right though. Beats bumming a ride.
OK. We got picks of the "loaner" ride... I hope we see picks of your 1100 after the Termi install!

Wave to a metric? Wouldn't count on it.... :'(
I would have rather bummed a ride ;) ;D
atleast you got a loaner. my bike was in the shop for a month+ and i had to take the train to a railroad and walk a mile just to see her.
wouldn't they loan you that 1098 sitting on the floor?
Wait, so your loaner doesn't come w/ Termis? :)
I think I would have a hard time trying to ride that or any other bike immediately out in the streets without getting used to it. :(
