Title: Hot ECU Post by: rockaduc on May 18, 2008, 08:23:46 AM I just came back from my first "shake down run" after making some mods which required me to remove and then replace the stock ECU. When I returned and was going over all of the various fasteners to make sure that they had stayed snug to spec, I realized that my ECU was HOT. I never payed attention to this before. Anyone have any insight????

and your ECU is suppose to be hot. Its an electrical device that has power running through it (your laptop gets hot for the same reason). It was shower hot, not wood burning stove hot.
