Title: Passing Thru...Wednesday 5/18
Post by: RB on May 19, 2009, 06:42:59 AM
I am riding to Deals Gap this weekend and am leaving Baltimore on Wednesday(tomorrow) to meet with a group in Manassas. This is usually a short ride, so a friend of mine and i are going to leave Baltimore around 11am, and leisurely make our way to Manassas by 8ish.

I know a large amount of folks here on the board are from the area and i am asking for some spots we could hit to make the ride interesting.....roads, landmarks, scavenger hunt....
One spot i want to check out is Marlboro raceway (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=100075391582692274785.00000112964dafe13983a&ll=38.817107,-76.743364&spn=0.047147,0.082226&z=14)...old abandoned race track(turn on satellite imagery).

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated
