Title: 97 M900 head swap?
Post by: beastie on May 19, 2009, 09:43:29 AM
Hey everyone,

I'm kinda of new to Ducati's and I own a 97 M900. I've read that people like to change heads on these bikes, any reasons why?

It also looks like the cam gears are larger than normal, it doesn't look like other monsters I've seen. The bike came with no covers on it, it looks like the belt would be in the way.

Any light on this matter?

Thanks

Early Monsters had smaller valves than later Monsters.  Find out what Norm did/did not do with your heads and cams first.  Chances are will want to do nothing because it has already been done.

The heads are the large valve ones and the pullies are stock.
