Awesome race and BTW Larry was someone to be reckoned with on the flat tracks before he moved over to Road Racing, ought to be good. - Gene

I'm back, sorry no one wanted to go witrh me. Seriously it is a great set of races and the roads over to Ohio are awesome, now the last 400 miles are a bummer but the destination is worth it. Just so you know Larry Pegram put a Ducati in a GNC Final, far as I kow that is the only time a Ducati has made a GNC Final. The TT races were good Saturday night and the GNC Mile on Sunday was awesome as usual, with 6 bikes battling for the win all the way to the last lap, with lead changes almost every lap. One of the reasons I wanted to go was that was one of the trips Bill Bowen made with me, he rode an M900sie back that he found in IL somewhere for one of his sons.

The ST3 starter acted up several times, 4 in 3 days, think it might be the starter sprague -sp? Dropped it off at DucPond on my way in today, fortunatlely I have a 5 Year warranty, so I don't care what they find as long as it gets fixed.

As much as I prefer the twistys I have to admit the ST3 does pretty well on the Superslab, running at 85-90 I was getting 50-52MPG, and in the liquid sunshine I am glad I was not on one of the Monsters. But for sure the trip is better on the Victory.

Cannot wait to get back over to SE Ohio on one of the Monsters or better yet would make a good trip for the streetfighter if I get it. Later - Gene

might be a solenoid too as they are famous for failing long term on Duc's..
