has anyone installed a nichols flywheel on a 620 motor?
mine came without the flywheel and i need to know if i need the spacer.
before teh questions start:
i bought the motor to put in my bike (with upgraded bits and 750cc jugs) because of the trans, clutch, and better heads.
it's an 05 motor
yes, i'm sure it will grenade after i start it
yes it's been a year since i started this project.

Call up Nichols and ask them: 1-408-945-0911
I've found them to be quite helpful on the phone when I've had questions about parts or service.

i didn't even think about that.
the guy explained it to me perfectly. i was just being scared and not thinking broadly enough.
and it'll be simple enough if i just pull the flywheel off the old motor first.
i dont know that much detail. sorry.
Jammen has a nichols flywheel in his 620. Nice mod, that.
PM him if you still don't have a spacer answer.

thanks
the answer was very simple. put on the starter motor, sprag, bushing, and whatever else there is and see if there is enough clearance.
