Does anybody know if CAMers and/or MADers will be meeting sometime this weekend in the district for Memorial Weekend? It would be cool if all f us met somewhere Saturday to do a DUCATI show of force. Any takers? How about Saturday ASYLUM in Adams Morgan? We could meet in the afternoon and go for a ride around the city and the Mall. Just because we ride Italian bikes does not mean we cannot show support this Memorial Weekend.
I say Saturday because Sunday will be a huge mess and it will be harder to stop, park, chat and look at the other bikes around town.
It would be great to have a big group of Monsters/Ducatis going around town among all the Harleys and Chopers. Like every year, the city will be full of bikes and Saturday people tend to be more laid back and relaxed.
Anybody up to it?
depends on how fast I get the tune up done on my Subaru as the heads are pretty nicely wedged damn close to the frame rails and I know I have to pull the airbox out to do the passenger side.
Some folks are usually out and about for this event - though the long slow rides do not favor the air cooled ducs.
I won't be - busted something important in my knee and trying to keep off it until I can see the doc.

I used to have a Brat when I was a kid......the poor truck was put through HELL twice. Held up incredibly well.
After the commute I just had with 66 being completely shut down I don't think I want to see my bike until at least Tuesday.. :)
I always wondered what 7 temperature bars felt like and now my legs know.

I had a 4 door GL, a loyale and an outback limited. [thumbsup] All of them made it well pased 200,000 miles and they all died due to head failures.
