Title: Allow Me to Introduce Myself Post by: Zak on May 22, 2009, 09:58:47 PM Hey Everyone,
My name is Zak and recently bought myself a 1998 Monster 750 for my birthday. You all seem like a pretty cool bunch so I'd love to meet and ride with more people who are as stoked on marvelous italian shit-boxes as I am! I live in boulder and have been having a good time ripping up some of our local canyons and mountain roads but I would be interested to see where other people are riding on a regular basis. To give a little background on me, I am a professional Downhill skateboard racer (currently Pro North American Champion) and I make high performance skateboard/longboard parts for a living. If you ride in boulder, or in golden especially on lookout mountain or crawford gulch you may have seen my crew and I bombing the roads. Anyway, allow me to introduce myself and I look forward to a bright future here. Thanks, ~Zak~ Title: Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself Post by: psicorp on May 23, 2009, 07:26:44 AM Welcome, I just got new tires on the bike and itchin to get riding. Might need to break them in a little first but hopefully we get back to normal CO weather.

However, I'll be the first to post that your thread is meaningless without pictures!! [popcorn] Congrats in the meantime! [clap] Title: Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself Post by: Fresh Pants on May 26, 2009, 09:56:29 AM Welcome, and woah, DH skateboards. ;D [thumbsup]
Title: Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself Post by: Stella on May 26, 2009, 02:16:02 PM Yay! Another Boulder area rider! I think this means there are enough of us to have happy hour(s) in this part of the range. Not that the one or two of us couldn't already get together.... Just sayin'
I'm sure I've seen you kids on your boards going down Lookout while I'm pedaling my lungs out. How the hell do you stop is what I've been wondering! I actually live in Denver but work on the west end of Pearl. I'm too slow to ride with you but I'm pretty quick with the beer and can eat glass sliders like a fat kid eats birthday cake. Welcome! P.S. Your Duc doesn''t have the fabric tassels around the seat cowel, does it? Please say no. [laugh] that comment just made my day [laugh] and welcome.... im not a coloradian, but im a frequently flyer up there even tho i havent been lately :P Title: Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself Post by: Zak on May 26, 2009, 07:02:41 PM Sweet. I'm glad to see some response. I don't have any friends with bikes at the moment, so let's get some rides going eh? There are many very ripable roads in the boulder area that could begin or end with a Happy Hour at Dagabi in north boulder. They have really, really, really, cheap tapas and gourmet pizzas. Good stuff.
On a related note, no, that is not my bike with the tassles. Not just no, but HELL NO. Anyway, hit me up, and we'll go slay it. Pretty simple. Later, ~Zak~ Title: Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself Post by: Spicoli on May 26, 2009, 10:26:46 PM Yay! Another Boulder area rider! Just sayin' I prefer staying up in the boulder area... and down with Zak's idea... after work ride up one canyon, down another... late dinner/beer in boulder. Title: Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself Post by: ducducgooseme on May 27, 2009, 05:46:47 AM welcome and +1 to everyone's idea of north area get togethers.
