whew. :) the world just went back to a safer sane-er place
so how many centiliters is that?
So I understand that $0.002 =/ .002 cents and that the Verizon people are mixing up the terms/ numbers but metric doesn't actually write $0.002, does it? Isn't it usually written x.xxx.00 with the normal 2 zeros for cents because there is no 1/1000th cent coin?
I'm curious what his contract says. I'm thinking that it actually says $0.002 which is 0.2 cents so he should be paying the $71.xx and not the 71xx cents he wants to get off with.

my bill says $0.10 per text, but it also says 10cent. But when talking to a customer service rep, they always get it mixed up. some of them cant make the connection unless you point it out so im sure verizon get themselves covered, its just the representative whos retarded.
reminded me of this
Kentucky Math (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88E0TYijc5I#lq-lq2-hq-vhq)
I'm heading to the bank Tuesday morning and exchanging 100,000 cents for a $100,000.
I'm rich!

$0.002 = 2/10ths of one cent: $0.02 = 2 cents
or $0.02 = 2.0 cents.
0.002 cents = 2/1000ths of one cent. [beer]

i think you're right (about TOB)
but this is not the first time that a derby has managed to jump the gap.
