I was wondering if anyone else had done this......and what kind of problems they ran into. Gonna slam that motor in there and see what happens. will update.
FYI, i am wondering about problems other than the obvious water radiator brackets. Those can be fabricated and attached or welded on.
There will likely be a problem with the frame crossmember, vicinity of the throttle bodies.
I don't think your fuel tank will clear the vertical cylinder head.
Wiring is going to be a challenge.
Are you using the DSS or SSS swingarm? If the latter you will need to change the upper pivot assembly but you will be able to use a factory/aftermarket exhaust. If the former you will need a 100% custom exhaust system to route through the DSS swingarm. You might also have a rear exhaust port / shock problem in routing the rear header w/DSS setup -- you need to angle the header immediately coming out of the exhaust port to clear in the regular S4RS situation.
You will need to convert the fuel tank to the high pressure (3bar) fuel setup as well.
Recommend POD filters and making your battery box setup. Make sure you get the S4RS wiring harness and all the sensors. (you will need to add brackets for these as well)
I can't remember but I think there is also a slight difference between the old frames / ST frames which makes it easier routing of water lines. Worse case scenario is you modify the water outlet to properly routed the H20 lines.
12mm engine mounting bolts on the S4Rs engine.
ALL crossmembers around the carbs/throttle bodies will require reworking to get them to work.
Stock exhaust S4Rs won't fit the M750 swingarm
S4Rs swingarm won't fit the M750 frame
'99 M750 frame (888 based) is weaker than a 2002 & up frame so might require bracing for such a large HP jump
(and this is only what's on the top of my head....)

i have an s4rs wiring harness and a fabricator that can fix the frame. I do know that there is a crossmember on the s4rs frame though. i'll take a look at that area before tear down, i suppose. Fuel tank as well.

i haven't really decided yet about that....dss or sss. dss would be cheaper. I do have a stock s4rs exhaust though from my current s4rs.
ah decisions, decisions.
Good luck w/ the build Ray.
I have absolutely zero technical info to add here. Sorry.
Keep us posted!
Huh?
