Dang, looks as though one of the threads is seized in the adjusting link, has anyone here taken there's out?
Looks like you've just gotta support the bike off the ground, undo bottom bolt on shocky/link and top bolt on the link and it should come out.
Correct? Yes? No? maybe?
This can be done by wedging something between the wheel and the rear of the frame.
I use a scissor jack with metal a pipe bridging the rear frame rails.
On my set-up, I can wedged the pipe against my high mount exhaust brackets. Not too sure how bridging the frame rails with out moving will work on your set-up though.
This is a Topic I posted a while back (with lot's of Pics) on how to remove and replace the Shock on an S2R 800, the only difference is your removing the Adjusting rod and not the shock, but the procedure is very similar.
Take your time, and it's pretty easy to do.

if you don't have the type of jack shown in the above link just use a scissor jack w/ a 2x4 between rear tire and frame.
i used a ladder and 2 tie down straps
