Another 12,000 miles and it will be new again.  Sounds like an excellent deal to me. [thumbsup]

It's the right color - too bad it runs - or I'd be all over it [roll]

For all the horror stories you hear about Ducati maintenance that's not a bad list of repairs either.  It doesn't look like it's ever had a head off or a case split.  Just one clutch, a couple of chain & sprocket sets, a few sets of brake pads and regular tire and oil changes.  (Yeah okay...and timing belts too...but it's a Ducati).

edit:  Oops!!   TWO clutches.  I guess the first one was while he was just learnin'... ;D

With that many miles, the guy is probably selling it because he can no longer stand upright.

Dry clutches on a superbike. 2 still isn't bad.

did you guys notice that there we only 2 valve adjustments in 87000 miles?

count it one at 16k and another at 64k.. that is almost 50,000 miles between valve adjustments... wow

and no flaking rocker arms?

It's going to depend how this shop keeps records...
It says "Valve Adjust".... That doesn't necessarily mean that at that 6000mi service that valves werent CHECKED...
Or maybe it does.. Who knows..
Thing fires right up in the video, sounds sharp too...

Based on the level of detail in that list, I doubt he missed a valve check.

There's a yellow 748 around here (DC) that's running about neck in neck with this one for mileage.  75K in sept 08.  Bet there's some stories with both bikes.
