Title: Exhaust innard supplies Post by: booger on May 28, 2009, 10:21:43 AM I want to fully core some stock cans and replace the guts with a perforated steel tube wrapped with fiberglass batting. Anyone know of a source for both of these items? Finding the steel tubing seems difficult. Thanks!

If anyone has first hand experience dealing with these guys I would love to know.

I have found http://www.carbonfibertubeshop.com/large%20tubing.html (http://www.carbonfibertubeshop.com/large%20tubing.html) which will work for the outside but all of the internal stuff and inlet pipes would be great. Anyone know where you can buy stuff like this? http://www.pjengineering.co.uk/index.asp (http://www.pjengineering.co.uk/index.asp) Never used them but am thinking about ordering stuff for an exhaust project... It's made for two and four stroke and about $10 a pack.
The tubing, my brother found a sheet of perforated metal and just cut it, rolled it and welded it in a few spots. Title: Re: Exhaust innard supplies Post by: booger on May 28, 2009, 02:18:17 PM Aha! Found it.
