Rolled up to my local whoopazz hardware store, and spied this lounging by the door. [thumbsup]

Blown Nitrous Big Block Chevy
Some kinda Automatic trans (boo)
Owner mentioned something about it being on the Discovery Channel, and that it was the worlds quickest street car. YMMV....
Video goodness:
Goodguys '08 Pro Street Nash (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=it5GJsGf9r4#lq-hq-vhq)
Sounded like that, but with a lot more blower whine, just as lurchy when he took off.

you sure it was "regular" automatic, or was it a drag racing transmission? i'm guessing the latter.
Needs to lose the whale tail :o
I found a better video of it:
Inch worm Highway (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ik5NAiCgyeU#lq-hq-vhq)
holy crapcakes!
:D
That's what I'd do with a Nash Metro. . .
A guy around here built one with a Viper engine and trans. . .
[evil]
Can't believe that creation has a license plate :o
That's easy to do. . .
Ive seen dirt track cars get plates because the owner had a 60's Nova title and they used the roof and hood off the nova on the DT car.
It was enough to get PA tags :o
It's running a vintage CA plate, so maybe he modded a virgin Metropolitan.
Big Brother may not be aware of it's current configuration. ;D
I cannot imagine driving that thing in anger.
It's *way* shorter than an old-school Altered, and those were a true handful.
Not much room for error there, IMO.
I've got a couple more pics, needless to say the interior is not at all roomy.
Only in California... [laugh] [laugh]
That thing's absolutely insane.
