Title: motoneko?
Post by: vwboomer on May 29, 2009, 01:11:42 PM
Anyone have experience with this place? i searched here and ADV rider and didn't come across anything negative so I ordered my 2pc leathers from them, as they were cheapest.  This was on the 18th. Their page states that orders ship the next day, or 48-72 hours if it's drop shipped.
Came right out of my Paypal account, but never heard anything else. Few days go by and I email asking what's the status and get nothing back. Wed I email again. Nothing.

I called this afternoon after work and got immediate voice message saying their hours, and that I should leave a voicemail. Then a message says that the voicemail is full. WTF?

Anyone deal with em? anyone nearby?

ahhhk. On a whim I tried calling a 4th time and got through. Apparently they are moving buildings or something. Anyway, I ordered the SG1 2pc in 60 (which I would have thought was waaaaay too big but getting into a 58 at the dealer was a struggle....my FT suit is 54). They don't have it in stock anymore and the guy emailed me with my options. Unfortunately, he misspelled my address when doing so and I never got it.

Talked to the sales person and we settled on the Alpinestars Trigger 1 piece. I wanted 2 piece for ease of stopping for lunch or whatever when riding, but I guess I already have a 2 pc so I'll be better off. A bit more than the SG1 but still within reason.

FWIW he talked me into the 58. I'll give it a shot and if it won't work he'll exchange it.  [thumbsup]

I bought a helmet from them this spring, and got exactly the same thing you did, no response to email, no return on calls and the story that they were moving, in March.  I did get my helmet, and bought some fit pads later with no problems.  The guy I talked to seemed cool, and it worked out so I have no real pregnant dog, but they don't inspire a lot of confidence with their customer service.
