Title: Red PowderCoating
Post by: scduc on May 30, 2009, 03:48:45 PM
Has anyone had any luck with matching red powdercoating to the Ducati red frame? I am contemplating doing my case covers and swing-arm. And I would like to go with the durability of powdercoating rather than paint.

Member Pompetta has done it, although I'm not sure if it's paint or coat.

Send him a PM to find out?

The fashion police part of me say no to red case covers - too much red/wrong place. But if you like the idea, go for it [thumbsup]

I've just had the wheels on my hypermotard powder coated red by a guy over here in the UK and the colour is almost a perfect match plus he also lacquered them.  [clap]
I'm sorry that its not much help to you guys on the other side of the pond but it is possible to get a red powder coating done that works with the factory ducati red.  [thumbsup]
