Title: BST Wheel Upgrade Completed With Photos Post by: Perilo on May 30, 2009, 07:28:04 PM Thanks to all who shared their experience and advice to help me through this upgrade. All I can say is it really is a game changer...much much lighter feeling bike with better pick up...and they look great as well (just my bias opinion anyway [thumbsup])

Always wanted to swap out the rear on my S2R1K with the split spoker from a S4R.. Title: Re: BST Wheel Upgrade Completed With Photos Post by: JasonV on July 29, 2009, 02:48:49 PM You got a listing of all your mods? I'm digging the windscreen. Wonder if that'll fit on a 696...

Always wanted to swap out the rear on my S2R1K with the split spoker from a S4R.. Sorry but I already sold the stock wheels to someone on the forum...I believe he also has a S2R1K... Title: Re: BST Wheel Upgrade Completed With Photos Post by: Perilo on July 29, 2009, 04:09:24 PM You got a listing of all your mods? I'm digging the windscreen. Wonder if that'll fit on a 696... I never listed all the mods at one time, but I can tell you the windscreen is the DP racing fairing. http://www.ducati.com:80/shop/product.jsp?_DARGS=/shop/search/droplets/ddd_boxproduct.jsp.3_A&_DAV=/shop/search/advsearch.jsp&catid=cat960140&prodid=prod790131&srch=true (http://www.ducati.com:80/shop/product.jsp?_DARGS=/shop/search/droplets/ddd_boxproduct.jsp.3_A&_DAV=/shop/search/advsearch.jsp&catid=cat960140&prodid=prod790131&srch=true) Title: Re: BST Wheel Upgrade Completed With Photos Post by: Perilo on July 29, 2009, 04:12:05 PM Looks great. Title: Re: BST Wheel Upgrade Completed With Photos Post by: Bizzarrini on July 29, 2009, 09:48:18 PM Verrrrrrrrrrrry nice! Slight thread-jack: did you paint your headers or have them coated? How are they holding up?
Enjoy the riding! Title: Re: BST Wheel Upgrade Completed With Photos Post by: weemonster on July 30, 2009, 03:10:36 AM i'm so jealous.
i'd like bst's but they cost more than my bike did. And carbon wheels are not street legal here so i'd have to change them each time for the annual inspections. i dont usally like r's ut yours is nice Title: Re: BST Wheel Upgrade Completed With Photos Post by: JasonV on July 30, 2009, 03:08:19 PM I drooooooooooooool every time is see your avartar ;D Ditto on Ohmic's post. I never listed all the mods at one time, but I can tell you the windscreen is the DP racing fairing. http://www.ducati.com:80/shop/product.jsp?_DARGS=/shop/search/droplets/ddd_boxproduct.jsp.3_A&_DAV=/shop/search/advsearch.jsp&catid=cat960140&prodid=prod790131&srch=true (http://www.ducati.com:80/shop/product.jsp?_DARGS=/shop/search/droplets/ddd_boxproduct.jsp.3_A&_DAV=/shop/search/advsearch.jsp&catid=cat960140&prodid=prod790131&srch=true) According to the site, it doesn't fit on a 696. Plus that's just the fairing, thought it'd be the whole windscreen. Thanks. |
