Howdy all -
I've been gradually replacing the exhaust on my S2R1000 over the past few months, the following is the chronology:
Took off stock cans, and ran open udder
Added Fatduc o2 manipulator (Turned about halfway)
Replaced udder with Ex-Box (DB killer in place)
I do like the Ex-box much, but everytime I start riding, the engine light will come on for about 30 seconds. It only happens when it's cold, and it only lasts for a minute or less. I'm pretty sure this has to do with the Fatduc, but I wanted to make sure that what I'm seeing isn't indicative of a larger problem. I know that messing with the ECU/o2/fuel injection will sometimes result in the engine light coming on, but I want to be sure that I'm not doing something wrong.
Any insights here would be great.
Thanks,
Kevin
if you installed the fatduc, the light coming on is normal.
It is the FatDuc. Check out the first post here. It has the reason and the fix from FatDuc:

BTW, I have the ExBox and no CEL. Also, are run running an open airbox? The ExBox is one of the few exhaust systems that works well with the stock setup requiring no ECU work-around.
