Title: Anyone with FHE Driven Carbon Fiber Handle Bars? I was wondering if anyone had any FHE with them.

I thought they were awesome until it broke in a crash. Whole thing shattered, basically, and I couldn't even ride it home. When CF fails, it fails catastrophically. Aluminum/steel bends and you can at least get home.

They tip the scales at 1.6 lbs. Same as the Magura fat bars. They have several different stlyes of the bars, but don't publish any kind of dimensions for them....so picking them is a shot in the dark if you ask me. I know a streetfighter shop that sells them for 109$ Not a bad price. For me though, not knowing which ones to choose, being happy with the magura's (other than the silver), and being the same weight....I passed for now. If it's just a wrap, my failure concerns are invalid. What brand handlebar on your mtn Bike? this was 15 years ago, no idea what the brand was.
