Title: popped in to say hi
Post by: roxy696 on June 03, 2009, 07:20:18 PM
A couple of the ladies have pointed me in this direction :D  I am at work at the moment but will call in again soon to have more of a look around.  It is so nice that there are so many females out there loving their monsters.  So cheers  [beer] happy and safe rides.

Yay!  Glad you popped in!  As you can see, we're always glad to have another woman join the ranks of females who are also hopelessly in love with their Ducs.

Enjoy the DMF--it rocks!

PS--Hi Lauramonster!  Long time, no speak.  How are ya?

Wow, thanks for all the welcomes!!  My time ridding has been split, I rode for a year on my 620, she was my first bike, I was living in QLD at the time as some of the states in Aus have different courses where depending on age and how long you have held a car licence you can do your test on a 500 or larger bike and go straight on to your opens, which is what I did. I then had a 4 year gap without a bike during which time we moved to Tasmania, then once we could afford to do so back to bikes I went  [thumbsup].  Then August last year I started back on a VTR250 which I had a lot of fun on clocked 2000ks in a couple of months then went and got roxy, so I have been ridding for almost 2 years, have a few years of road cycling and cross country mountain biking behind me though which helps (surprisingly) where we live means that i have to do about 8ks eachway of dirt road before i get to the fun stuff so loose corners are not so scary anymore, another reason why the 250 was good to start back on.  Anyway I am very happy to be living in a state that does not know what straight means  [moto]and very happy to find this forum.  Thanks for all the hard work that people put in to make this possible  [bow_down]and look forward to chatting more and more hopefully without putting anyone to sleep.

Nic
