My time ridding has been split, I rode for a year on my 620, she was my first bike, I was living in QLD at the time as some of the states in Aus have different courses where depending on age and how long you have held a car licence you can do your test on a 500 or larger bike and go straight on to your opens, which is what I did. I then had a 4 year gap without a bike during which time we moved to Tasmania, then once we could afford to do so back to bikes I went [thumbsup]. Then August last year I started back on a VTR250 which I had a lot of fun on clocked 2000ks in a couple of months then went and got roxy, so I have been ridding for almost 2 years, have a few years of road cycling and cross country mountain biking behind me though which helps (surprisingly) where we live means that i have to do about 8ks eachway of dirt road before i get to the fun stuff so loose corners are not so scary anymore, another reason why the 250 was good to start back on. Anyway I am very happy to be living in a state that does not know what straight means [moto]and very happy to find this forum. Thanks for all the hard work that people put in to make this possible [bow_down]and look forward to chatting more and more hopefully without putting anyone to sleep.
