The monthly Zeitgeist meetup is Thursday May 29th. For folks who asked about how to join the MOB, showing up at Zeitgeist is an easy and (initially) painless way to meet folks and shoot the breeze. Don't worry, there are no bylaws (other than buying the occasional pitcher) and we never read the minutes of past meetings.  Basically we sit around, drink beer and eat tamales and tell outrageous stories.  If that sounds like fun, then head to Zeitgeist, on Duboce and Valencia in SF, anytime after 6:30pm or so on the last Thursday of any month.

And what would that involve if said rider shows up on a non-ducati?  And then kicks over a few ducatis to make room for his triumph?  [laugh]

yea, downtown is a fun little spot, the main bonus with austin is the hotel is next too ducati austin.

Mebbe we should all wear that shirt & be that guy. Besides the last concert I went to was Metallica & Gun & Roses at the Superdome back in 93 or 94 So I don't know how to act anymore.

Am looking forward to hanging out with my motorcycle crowd again.  Spent the last five days being very girly with my sisters and mom...shopping, ballet, iced tea, salads and cheesecake for every meal, wearing nice shoes all the time.  I'm soooo ready to drink "found beer" and scarf down a greasy burger in my sweaty gym clothes and leathers.   [thumbsup]

Skip Ducati Austin, and go to Casino El Camino, 517 E.6th Street. Best damn burgers you'll ever have!!! I lived off of them for the better part of a decade!! [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

I hear ya. I feel naked without my SIDI's and leather. I get rather unbalanced living off the herbs of the earth. Tamales have that special mellowing agent that keeps the bitter things in life in perspective.

i was gone last month so they will resume in june. maybe some time next week, monday? i can drop them by.

My weekend in NYC could have benefitted from a lot less iced-tea-and-salad lunches and a bit more beefcake.   [laugh]  Fortunately for me it was Fleetweek.  I got enough tight bootie in dress-whites to last me for my last few weeks as a single woman.   [cheeky]
