At a brief but necessary lunch time hooky ride I found second gear and I let the tac roll past 7,500RPM for the first time. The front wheel lifted effortlessly into the air as the throttle bodies finally let loose a little. The sound completely changed into the familiar family roar. I heard a few have had gas tank leaks - which came from a faulty "O" ring of all things. (remember the ex-space shuttle). I replaced my gas tank entirely because of something else. Other than that no. It's been a love. Anything in new production is bound to reveal some flaws in manufacturing. Ducati has been very responsive about it. But that would be pretty cool mastering the limits of my ride.
