Beck... no GPS.  Even if we get lost, we'll have time for beers on Rush St. Super psyched about this.  Do it up!

I just purchased a very similar power cord. A Gilsson 18 pin power from GPS CITY:

http://www.gpscity.com/gilsson-18-pin-bare-wire-power-cable.html (http://www.gpscity.com/gilsson-18-pin-bare-wire-power-cable.html)

On the outside of the "bulge" (where a small inline fuse is contained) there is a very small green LED indicator.  Does anyone have any opinions as to weather this will drain my battery significantly.  I generally hook up a tender during the winter months (live in the northeast), but I don't want to risk taking a long cruise somewhere and waking up the next day to a dead battery.  To date I've never had any problems withe my battery, just curious if anyone thinks this will cause a significant drain.  I don't see many "non-essential" fuses to wire my GPS to, so I'm considering this route.  If I have an electrical issue I can live with a dead GPS; I'd rather not lose my headlight/brake lights/etc...

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the opinions,
Zipper

Can't say if it is specifically Bones Brigade or Powell Peralta; they used the image on lots of logo, stickers, advertisments, etc. during the early/mid 80's. Think I had that sticker ony my Mike McGill deck. Funny, lotsa folks seem to recognize the logo. (Now I've really torched my question.) Thoughts on an LED light running down a battery? (LOL)

Iwould be suprised if an led could drain down a battery in a month much less a night one way to tell is set a dvom on amphere setting with the leads in the proper ports. next disconnect the battery and hook one lead to the neg cable end and one end to the neg battery post and look for less than a 50 milliamp draw
