Monday is the 18th annual "Ride to work day".
www.ridetowork.org (//http://)
Designed to elevate the general public's awareness of motorcycles in general, and their use as transportation.
Thanks for the reminder.
I'll [moto] that day instead of walking. [thumbsup]
I'll be riding United that day. [roll]

At least I was one of two bikes on the road on International Female Ride Day (it was raining). Although I think the other one was a guy on a BMW. :-\
I suppose I could bungee an attache case to the bike and fake it :D
Looks like I'll be riding in on Monday [thumbsup]
I ride to work everyday! (my wife needs the car more then me) :-\
I'll be sitting in Qatar enjoying three [drink] a day...
Lucky me. Every work day is ride to work day. ;D
I'm not working right now. I'll get out and put extra miles on the tires anyway.
<-- Total poseur.
Didn't see one other bike on the road this morning. Kinda dissappointing.
Great, my bike is being fixed :'( Doesn't look I will be getting her back anytime soon [bang]

How do you even ride in the scorching heat and humidity there on any given day?

Don't think he lives there. ;)
If only I could strap multiple hundreds of pounds worth of tools and parts to the Beemer :). I've been pegged as nothing more than a weekend warrior, but when the company gives me a work van I don't have much choice :)
Kind of cool where I work. We had about 10 bikes and they had us take a picture to put on our website and company magazine. There were 7 Harleys, a GSXR, and my Monster.
Mine was definitely the point of covnersation for everyone. [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
I rode two bikes to work today, so I guess technically that makes up for someone who couldn't or didn't.
M1000 in the morning, then I went home for lunch and came back on the S4R.
[moto]
Rode in and rode to lunch. About to have to try and get home in one piece now...
You would think with a bright red bike and lid you wouldn't have to dodge every cager out there.... :)

That's 9 bikes not 10, duh.

Heh, for a second I thought you were trying to be funny by saying the Gixxer wasn't a real motorcycle. :)
I was only one of three bikes today -- my M750, a FJR1300, and a Harley. (There were two scooters too.) On Fridays we can get as many as 10 bikes... kind of a pathetic turnout.
Well I worked a 9pm - 1 am shift Monday .. BUT I rode the SUZUKI ;)

I ended up riding to my coworker's house to carpool to the airport yesterday, so I did get to ride to work after all.
I was riding through the twisties at 3:30 am. I didn't see any other bikes out there either, shocking. [cheeky]
We recently moved to new office spaces. Now I need a key-card to access the parking structure. SO I fish my wallet out of my jacket pocket, activate the gate. Then it takes me a bit of time to get the wallet back into my pocket. As I ride through the gate comes down on my helmet [bang]. Need to come up with a better way to use the key-card

Clip it to your key ring that the bike key is on with one of those retractable string thingies. That always worked for me.
come on DBran, we are suppose to be cool 8), hope nobody was behind you to see. if no one sees you, then it never happened.
100 post! [clap] [drink]
I was riding to work today, like everybody should, I was a bit late, i cut off a first set of cagers at the light, then I did it again, and then again. splitting lanes or cutting my way to the front not only save on time, fun, thrilling, but more importantly addictive.. once you start you don't want to stop...
just keep that left thumb near the honker [thumbsup]
No one saw so I guess it didn't happen, just like that power wheelie getting on the freeway [evil]
excellent post for number 100 [thumbsup]
i rode and didnt even know it was the annual ride to work today until a co-worker told me [thumbsup]
