Cookies1 Tailchop, and Rizoma Track 01's they are 10x brighter than stock [thumbsup] [thumbsup] you have to get the spacers from Rizoma in order for them to work with the seat cowl.

i think the integrated tail light/signal thing is a great compliment to any tail chop

I still have my scotck signals..!!  I will replace them one day, still don't know when..

You know, i think that's the problem i'm having... The stockers are not a bad looking turn signal! And for the prices going right now, it's hard to find a set that is THAT much better to justify buying them... I'd like to get some smoked amber lenses, but i think that might be the only changes i make. Hmm. Keep them coming though guys, this will be a good thread ;D

Herm, I've looked at those but they don't seem very bright.  I love the clean look, but don't want to sacrifice safety with all of the asshat drivers around here.  How is the visibility in the real world?

i was trying to come up with some wise ass comment about how i cant see them.......but its too early.  ;D

seriously, when i stand behind the bike, the tail light seems plenty bright. i can only assume the brake light is even brighter.
the turn signals are extremely bright IMO, but they are a little lacking on the sides.

how are the rizomas?  while they look trick, i hear they aren't very good quality.

those integrated ones look pretty nice too

I have DP billet ones; front and back. They are expensive though, but I got em at 50% off so it wasn't too bad. I ended up spray painting both the bulbs and the plastic lens with red stained glass paint (translucent) so they can be seen better.

Where would one acquire such billet DP turn signals? So far, those are the hottest signals i've seen yet! ;D

I got them at the dealer... But I have seen them on sale on ebay on a few occasions, too...

i really did want to show you my turn signals, but i cant seem to find the box i chunked them in when i removed them.  i have several boxes of parts that ive taken off over the years.  it seems the turn signals were placed in the box labeled "trash" or "junk ill never need again."

These are just some cheapies from a local motorcycle accessory store. I think they are Lockharts,  or something like that... About $15 a pair and I've actually been pretty content with them!

kind of a add on to this thread, but I want to change out my front turn signals and leave the fairing on a S2R 1000.  most of the pics I've seen here and threads on TOB everybody has the fairing off.

Anybody got pics of new signals with the fairing on and what did you use?

Where did you but these from? Any special adaptors?

I have to say that Rizoma makes some of the nicest aftermarket parts I have ever seen.  Which I base on their use of high quality materials and the overall fit/finish of their parts.

+1 on the Rizomas. I have the Track 1's as well. Purchased from pjsparts.com, (who are excellent to deal with, btw!). They are a breeze to install and are much brighter than stock signals. Make sure to purchase the extensions for the front signals so they clear the fairing. You also may need to purchase the resistors but some bikes don't need them.

i like the look of these but after reading more about them, i dont like the fact that they have to have that huge box, where did you put the resistor boxes? i dont run a fairing on the front and i dont really see a place to hide the boxes, what is the approx size of them?

my Rizoma Track 01's. Nice. no idea what to do about the front  - maybe just clear lens - and sorry bout the Mickey mouse ears - to busy with exhaust / hugger and cockpit upgrade at this stage!

Rumble Imports 22 LED signals, front and rear.  The rear resistor box is under the seat, the front was painted black and mounted behind and slightly below the headlight.

You can swap the rears to the front and they will be flush with the fairing (they are a bit shorter). Still leaves you with no rears.  :)

Yeah, my bad.  Micro not mini (fixed it).
Their bright enough I think but kind of small, but since I got the CA integrated taillight I just wanted something small that flowed with the tail.  Be forewarned, I had to dremel the point a bit to get the shape right to blend with the tail.  Just a bit of an angle on the forward point to match the shape of the tail then black silicone to fill in and smooth.  I think they were actually about a quarter inch longer than I thought.  I may have been able to mount them a little further back but felt they flowed better the way I mounted them.

you did a good job of trimming it cause it looks like it's part of the tail. IMHO that's the best light set up i've seen for the short tail.

did it come with a load box or resistor?

For how cheap the lights were they came with some very good quality resistors.  Much better quality than the crap ones that came with the CA taillight.  FYI.  If you only install one set of LED lights you don't really need the resistors.  If you install two or more sets, you only need one set of resistors.  For example,  I have LED Taillight, LED signals front and back and only have one set of resistors in the back and they are hidden under the tail.  Hope that helps.
