Title: New Monster Member - 2003 Monster 800S ie Post by: Dink on June 15, 2009, 04:14:35 AM Today I pick up my M800S. It's a 2003 with 1245 miles and a dime size dent where the left bar caught the tank. I'm on my second day as a site member so still feeling my self around.
I'm 51 years old and lovin life. I ride Road and Dualsport. Also am a member of the Two Wheeled Texans website. Motorcycling isn't new to me I start with a Rupp Minibike in 1969. Then a Honda Trail70, Honda CL 70, Honda, Honda CL 100, Suzuki TM125, Honda CL 175, Suzuki Cyclone 400, Suzuki GT 750, Yamaha SR 500, Honda 1100 Ace, KDX 200, BMW R1100RT, BMW R1150R, KLR 650, DRZ 400 and now the 2003 M800S. Guess you could say life's been go to me. I currently own: M800S, R1150R, KLR 650, & DRZ 400. The wife rides as well so I listed hers also. I have 27 years of Auto Paint & Body experience and hope to contribute to helping other members where I can. I'll need help from time to time with a Duc. Oh, and you have great taste in Ducati's - I also own a '03 M800s and have recently made the call that I'm never going to sell it - it's an awesome bike! I have an M800, too. It's really been a fun moto for me, and I'm sure you'll feel the same way about yours. Don't hesitate to find a local Texas board and introduce yourself.
