Title: Clutch Post repair Post by: He Man on June 15, 2009, 11:19:49 AM i have a Motowheels Clutch Hub that has a slightly bent clutch post. Id buy another one, but motowheels only sells them in packs of 12 and only in titanium which is as much as the hub itself. I was wondering what anyones recommendation is on straightening it out?

(http://www.motowheels.com/italian/images/lg454793211.jpg) how is the post attached? does the post thread into hub? are the post steel? if it were mine... i would get a steel plate, drill and tap the plate to accept the post, and then using a snug fitting pipe as a lever, bend it back into shape. no heat if the bend is just slight. |
