The upholstery on my saddle is worn off. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement?
Cheers, Pedro
check your local yellow pages for an auto upholstery shop.....i had a bike seat done several years ago for less than 100.00
there are also several venders who sell new seat covers, but no FHE...
Cheaper to re-upholster the original but if you've got the extra money it's a good time to invest in an upgrade like a Sargent. It'll give you more storage under the seat too.
+1 to upgrading to a new seat. If your going to drop 100 bones on a new cover, why not drop $200 on a more comfy one? (sgts are a bit more, but its common to see them surface ever so often, especially sued DP seats)
or maybe get your stock seat rebuilt and then reupholstered.
'Duc' Tape it ;D
Have you checked luimoto? They make a really nice cover.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that companies like Sargent also do re-upholstery. So if you are dead set on re-uphostering and don't want to buy a new seat, my suggestion is Sargent or some local company.
these guys sell covers, or you can have them install it. IMO they are the best looking seats.

NOTE: i don't think desmoworld sells these, just used this pic of Chris's bike for display purposes.

Bagster doesn't list Ducati as a bike for which they make seats!

the 'build your own' is pretty elaborate. i didn't go all the way through to see how much it cost.
My seat is getting re-upholstered by a local company and i should get it back Monday. Mine is the first Monster seat they've done (Yeah, 15 year old bike and they've never done one) so if they start offering the pattern up for others I will post it up soon.
+1 on liumoto. their covers are REALLY nice. very good quality and you have a ton of choices in color or texture of the fabric. in fact, i have a seat thats re-upholstered with one of their covers for sale... let me know if you are still looking around and i may be able to sell it to you for the price of the cover itself.
