Title: Clutch Slave Cylinder Post by: wmacinty on June 23, 2009, 04:37:45 PM Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has replaced the clutch slave cylinder on the '09 696, and if so did you notice any difference? i.e does the clutch engage earlier? Title: Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Post by: scduc on June 23, 2009, 05:00:22 PM What kind of difference are you looking for? I compared the pull on the 09' 696 to my 08' S2R 1K and I was blown away. The 696 was super-easy. I wouldn't think you would need to change it. I have an EVO and the 696 is still easier to squeeze.

I think he's looking for earlier engagement... Title: Re: Clutch Slave Cylinder Post by: wmacinty on June 23, 2009, 05:11:54 PM Yes...I'm looking for earlier engagement. It feels as though it is in the last 1/4" that the clutch actually engages. I'm wondering if there is a way to change that.
