Title: Clutch push rod wobbles
Post by: mojo on June 24, 2009, 04:41:59 PM
Just noticed today while I was putting my gear on and letting my bike warm up, that at idle the clutch push rod and pressure plate wobble a little (maybe a millimeter).  If I open the throttle just a bit, the wobble stops.
I recently replaced the clutch pack (Barnett), the basket (Motowheels aluminum), the throwout bearing (OEM) and the springs (Motowheels SS).  The pressure plate and spring caps are still stock.
At first I thought that maybe the push rod was bent, but when I gave it some gas and it seemed to turn true, it confused me a bit.  Is this normal, or do I have a serious problem?

We all have problems.

I don't think your bike does though. ;D

No problem. I'm sure everyone here knows who you are.  Besides, a little fun never hurt anyone....oh, wait, nevermind.
