Nice job... Less is more... [thumbsup]
squidwood,
Say, where did you buy the Penske rear shock and how much did you pay? I plan on buying one for my S2R1000. The Penske 8983. I notice your Penske has a long remote reservoir hose... I plan to get mine from: hordpower.com. I bought one before from them for my 620 Monster and it was awesome.
Ride safe brother and cool bike.
I got my Penske shock from GP Suspension in Oregon City Oregon.
If you go to their website you will see what they do.........
These guys are the real deal when it comes to suspension as that is all they do. [thumbsup]
They are an authorized Ohlins,Penske and Eibach distributor/repair facilty and they make their own springs, shims and valves as well as making them for other people.

Thanks brother. The last time I got a Penske shock the hose was too short limiting where I could mount the reservoir.
you forgot the clutch cover

Your bike reinforces my reasoning behind having bought the Acid Yellow S2R. I ran her with udder only for a couple of months and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THAT OPEN REAR END. At first I kinda wanted a hugger shorty on the back tire, but as is it just looks like it's floating. Such a cool effect. I really need some mod $ though. If only I hadn't convinced myself I needed a second bike..........
your bike looks damn good! i like the less is more thing a lot
luv da yello wit blk strips!
you must be a proud owner [thumbsup] leave it alone, i know it's hard but if I had a a bike like that, DONE! [clap]
not hard to leave it alone ........I dont have any more money! [laugh]
I just ride the the snot out of it now!
Thanks for all the nice comments guys.......if I had to do it all over agin I would have started with the rear shock.Replacing the stock Sachs shock is one of the best upgrades you can do to make these bikes work.......then do the front end.
Somewhere in between do the rest........
