This is a Superformance GT40 replica. The guy driving it just picked it up in Vegas and is taking it to Mexico, where he is the sole Superformance distributer. He also has a Cobra replica in polished aluminum and a Shelby Daytona Coupe. This car has a Roush 427 that sounds absolutely sick.

Awesome. I love that paint scheme. [thumbsup]
Paint scheme doesn't do it for me at all. The car itself is badass!

Yessir, painted in Gulf livery colors. Paint was flawless.
The Gulf livery paint scheme is my favorite. They flew the colors again at LeMans this year. [thumbsup]
I understand the history behind it, doesn't make it any more attractive to me...
so fkin fresh [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
I have always loved those cars. I even like the new ones.
awesome replica
would love one of those to skeer the kiddies
i love the switch(literally)gear
i'm gonna get a "ludicrous speed" switch put in my car somewhere.
Superperformance are some of the best replicas out there. They got the molds from Safir in the U.K. who got the original GT40 body molds didn't they?
Very cool. [evil] [thumbsup]
Just a guess, but I bet it sets off plenty of car alarms. [laugh]
Superperformmance are pretty nice, but I'm partial to Factory Five Racing...

Tell you the truth I don't know. It does have an actual Ford assigned vin.

Saw a couple of these in the Phoenix area.

I don't like all the color combo either. Looks good on the Monster with matching leathers though. Met this guy in Italy a few years back. [thumbsup]
Car is hot.
Paint scheme is killer.

Yeah, you should
DEFINITELY paint your Huffy & your helmet this color scheme and buy matching spendex onesies to go with them!
[cheeky]

Yeah, It raced LeMans this year. The Porsche is Steve McQueen's from 71. [thumbsup]

Bonus points if you hook it up to a fake supercharger.

I like the colors also. [bacon]
I think this is photoshopped but it is still cool.
Ford GTs (old or new - especially old) are beauties. [thumbsup]
I'd love to have either. :)
Aston ran Gulf colors last year, as well, with the DBR9's. I think it looked better on them than the LMP cars.

I really like the Gulf color scheme!
Hmmm...maybe a winter project for the 748 track skins. [evil]
Here's a local club members Sport 1000 that he had done up in Gulf colors:

Yeah its got AC. Its a brand new car and actually quite comfortable if you can get in. The door sill is over a foot wide and higher than the bottom of the steering wheel. Gumby would have a hard time getting in and out. Then you have to make sure you don't crack your head on the door. Not a date car lol. It is very cool.
