Title: Should there be a NSFW section?
Post by: spolic on May 20, 2008, 07:57:46 AM
I've noticed a lot of posts that are NSFW.  Should all these posts be corralled into their own area?

I'm not saying that you shouldn't post them,  just keep them in one area.  What do you all think?

I think just posting NSFW in the subject is sufficient

I can't believe you are even talking about this....how offensive.

If we're gonna have a NSFW section, could we at least be more specific?

I have a collection of NSFW pics that I had to separate from the WTF and LOL pics to ensure I don't get banned.

a simple NSFW pic thread could do the trick...

Hey it would be fun to try, right?

Then we all have someone to blame when the shit hits the fan! Or at least someone to point and laugh at...  ;)   :-*

The local VW forum I'm on has a NSFW section, and everyone manages to behave. The Bandit forum I'm on also has a section called The Clubhouse:

"non-motorcycle" Forum which also allows more ADULT content, REGISTERED members over 18, only!
NOT P.C. or WORK SAFE!

That seems to cover it well enough.

I'm glad you guys are discussing this.

Discussion is good.   [thumbsup]

I hope you're all not holding your breath waiting for it to happen.   ;)

+1

There are other ducati boards out there for nsfw material, this won't be one of them.

And if every 10th thread in DMF NMC is labeled nsfw, then we will crack down.  We are trying to stay hands off here, so don't make us change that attitude with bad behavior - OK?

I know I know  ;D

but my self-restrain is about equal to my political correctness...

I'll take the award, make a small speach, cry a little and slowly walk off the stage going the wrong way....
