Title: Laguna Seca GP: Paddock Pass a Must Have?
Post by: ducaTT on July 02, 2009, 04:53:24 AM
All - I got a pair of General Admission tickets for Sunday..

For those who's been to the previous GP events, is it worth getting the paddock pass?

Thanks!

I did it in 2007, and you couldn't see much. It's only worth it if you want to see the AMA paddock. But I hear Laguna is providing a *little* more access to paddock pass holders this year. I'm still skipping it.

Yes, to me it is.  Especially this year, as i believe that they are actually opening up the GP pits as well - not sure if it will be full-on access or not (in years past, they just let you along the back of the pits, not too much in the way of bike candy) but the superbike & supersports have been & will be full access for sure.

I looked it up, and the GP paddock will be open from 11-1 tomorrow only, but still very cool for the rest of it.  If you know people going, and the have paddock passes, it's very easy to do the shuffle (2 or 3 in, 1 brings out passes kinda thing)

If you really want to get passes, i have two that I can possibly sell you, or if you wait long enough, I'd probably give them to ya for a beer or 3... :)
