Oh and if you know of any Design jobs in the Denver area, even CAD work, maybe give me a shout

Sorry to hear about your job. And sorry you have to move. But on the plus side, if you land about 40 miles NW of Denver (Boulder) it will probably be the best place you've ever lived. Either way, be sure to visit Telluride whenever finances permit. That will probably be the prettiest place you've ever visited.

Best of luck on your new adventure. You're young and just starting out as it were - plenty of time.

I'm a huge biker, but I'm losing weight. ;D

What design industry? Architecture? Engineering? Industrial?

I'm in Architecture and I've been hearing that a few places are hiring here and there, things might be starting to pick up a bit.

Fantastic! I'm Industrial Design. Though i would be willing to divert to make a location change to the Denver area. I'm proficient at CAD as well. i'm sure i'd be useful somehow around an Architecture office!

PM me if you have any leads! Thanks, you just brightened my day a bit ha ha  [beer]

Even though loosing a job is never something to wish for, I am actually a little jealous of you.  That would be my plan as well and the f out of iowa.
